News::Heck yes: Protect Me Knight is getting a 3DS sequel

I've thankfully managed to forget about most of the Xbox Live Indie Games I subjected myself to over the years, but a few happy memories do remain. Ancient's Protect Me Knight , an 8-bit overhead action game about fending off hordes of monsters and leveling up your character and their move set in the process, is definitely among them.

I'm so pleased to hear there is a sequel in the works -- and for the 3DS eShop, no less -- but it's currently only confirmed for release in Japan. Other than that, my major concern at this point would be getting enough people together for multiplayer, as the original game was difficult alone.

Glad to see the ninja's outfit is as ludicrous as ever. Music's fabulous, too.

News::This is how you steal from other players in Metal Gear Solid V

Not all Mother Bases are created are created equal. Yours could be wildly different than another player's, as you've both decided to focus on different aspects to upgrade. It's a nice little touch that will make your base feel like home.

It's also the reason that you'll feel compelled to loot, loot, loot other people's Mother Bases. I mean, that cargo crate would really pull your base together, so go ahead and swiftly swipe it after disposing of some pesky guards.

This video shows off exactly what your grandiose cargo caper could look like. It starts at about 17 minutes in, but it's all rife with action that's so wonderfully Metal Gear Solid .

News::Ancient Space is a new space RTS from Paradox Interactive

If you're anxiously waiting for that Homeworld HD remake to arrive, we can console ourselves with another nice-looking space-based RTS game in Ancient Space which will dock with us later in the autumn for PC and Mac.

Developed by CreativeForge Games and published by Paradox Interactive, Ancient Space will set players in a distant corner of the galaxy known as the The Black Zone, where they'll attempt to uncover the mysterious disappearance of a starship ten years prior.

There's a notable cast from some big science-fiction television series (including Dwight Schultz!) voicing the action and I've had a hankering for some space RTS action for a while, so I'm really keen to get my hand on this game.

News::14 Classic Star Wars Games That Deserve an HD Remake

EB's Matt Heywood writes, "Star Wars games have been coming out since the release of the first trilogy, but they really didnt start to shine until they moved from the arcades into the homes of gamers that owned consoles that could play them. The 90s in particular ushered in a plethora of amazing Star Wars video games for both PCs and home consoles that led to even more great Star Wars gaming experiences in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, with the advances in technology that have taken place since these games were first released, none of them really hold up visually, so its hard to go back and play them after experiencing what a pimped out PC rig, or even the Xbox One and PS4 can offer gamers in terms of visuals, sound, and gameplay. Luckily for us we live on the Internet where anything is possible, so considering all of the recent HD remastered games that have been released lately (FFX, FFX-2, Fable, TLOU GOW, etc), it sounded like a great idea to list a handful of classic St...

News::Europe is getting another PS Vita Mega Pack

Sony will offer a fresh PlayStation Vita Mega Pack this autumn in Europe, available as a system bundle or a standalone memory card bundle for folks who already own a PS Vita.

In either case, the featured games are Gravity Rush, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Tearaway, Escape Plan, and TxK -- a nice introduction to the handheld's library.

The bundle with an 8GB memory card will cost €39.99, while the full Mega Pack with a PS Vita included as well will be €199.99. For what it's worth -- a lot, given how valuable storage is on the system -- the games themselves must be downloaded from PlayStation Network. These packs include vouchers for the five titles, not physical copies.
