The votes are in for the 2013 Saxxy Awards and, thank goodness, the phenomenal short Patrick recently posted, "Lil' Guardian Pyro," took top honors. It's embedded above and I urge you to make time today to see it. I'm fighting the urge to watch a third time right now.

For Thanksgiving, ChAIR is offering free Turkey Helms in Infinity Blade III that grant Isa and Siris an experience and skill-point boost. That's all well and good, but I don't think I'd be able to play through the game with the item equipped, as evidenced by that horrific image up there. Animal heads on human bodies (and vice versa) creep me out too much.

That said, the original Infinity Blade is also free right now. Do give that a download. It's one of my favorite iOS games to this day and with promos like this there's really no reason not to have it.

While the kinds of creative streaming shows folks have been putting on with the PlayStation 4 app The Playroom sound like good fun to me -- the ones without dudes showing their junk, that is -- they rather predictably aren't all gaming-focused and that's led to Twitch taking action.

"We removed Playroom content from the directory because a majority of it was non-gaming related," a Twitch representative told Joystiq. "We will look into adding it back as PS4 owners become more familiar with the games-only focus of Twitch content. In the meantime, you can view all of the amazing gameplay from PS4 broadcasters in this directory page on Twitch."

That didn't take long at all. I do hope Twitch eventually brings it back, though I suspect many of the offenders are fully aware of the site's "games-only focus" already.
