News::Assassins Creed Liberation HD Part Two | Video

"So, weve recently acquired a copy of Assassins Creed Liberation HD thanks to Ubisoft. Normally when we get a game for review, well just do a review and let you know our opinions, but for this particular game, we know that a lot of people are going to be a bit fency with it, as it is essentially a port of a handheld game for consoles and PC. So we figured, hey, why not make a video of the game and then people can decide for themselves?. And so we did. This is part two of that series." - Attack On Gaming

Nidhogg is the epic award-winning fencing tug-of-war, full of graceful acrobatics and clumsy stabs. News::Searching for the Secrets of Raetikon | Awesomeoutof10

I had zero expectations when I loaded Secrets of Raetikon. The name alone was uninviting, but ultimately the game owes a majority of that skepticism to its alpha tag, as well as my countless encounters with sketchy, similarly classified titles. You see, Im not a hugely supportive advocate of the whole pay now for content youll get eventually deal also known as Steam Early Access. Im more of an instant gratification kind of guy, which is why my freezer is packed to the brim with Hot Pockets. However, this particular alpha label didn't scare me off. I dont know if it was the Steam page description, which boasts a strangely assembled, open-world of wilderness to explore, or the promise of a campaign about the enduring struggle between nature and civilization, but something told me to disregard my internal warnings, and Im glad that I did.

News::SteamFirst Review: Mark of the Ninja

SteamFirst: I always get a bit nervous before starting a new stealth game. They can be so restrictive. Theyll give you all sorts of tools, gadgets, and weapons but you never get to use any of them. Usually it is because the second you make a move you have a dozen people on you and the level is already compromised. The result is you end up using the same two moves over and over again because they are safe. The other thing stealth games like to do is make the game so blisteringly difficult it sucks all the enjoyment out of the game. Mark of the Ninja is NOT that kind of a game. In fact, it is the most enjoyable experience Ive had with a stealth game in a long, long time.

News::Broken Age Act 1 Review: Aged But Not Broken - Pixel Related

Its hard to imagine any game in recent memory that has had as much scrutiny as Double Fines Broken Age. One of the first major video games on Kickstarter, Double Fine was able to raise an astronomical (for the time) $3.3 million to fund a, graphic adventure game for the modern age. When it was announced that Broken Age would be split into two separate acts in order to sell the game on Steam and to help fund further development of the title, people became skeptical. Why did Double Fine claim to be able to develop this game for their requested $400,000, but when the game raised over $3 million, they suddenly needed more income? Now that the game has been available to backers for a few weeks, its easy to see why they want more money and simultaneously difficult to see people being willing to pay $25 for it.

News::The 6 Biggest Horror Game Surprises Of 2013

BD writes: "Ive already taken a look at some of the best and worst horror games of 2013; now its time to take a moment to remember some of the biggest surprises of the year that was, both the good and the bad. For me, 2013 was a year brimming with moments that left me bewildered or leaning over to pick my jaw up off the floor. The majority were positive, such as the continued growth of indie horror, thanks in part to a bevy of new platforms and tools for aspiring and established indie developers. Other surprises werent quite as good, like the lack of interest in a sequel to a beloved horror game many of us have been looking forward to for more than a decade."
