News::MotoGP 14 Review | Gamereactor UK

GR-UK writes: "Put succinctly, the driving physics are too boring and generic for MotoGP 14 to ever become properly entertaining. It's lacking in feedback, the steering is a bit stiff and it's hard to get an idea of how much you can open the throttle before the massive understeer makes a return (or how slow you can run before it oversteers)." "Combined with the tedious and sketchy graphics (the small tufts of grass in replays look like a joke considering that this is a PS4 game) and the boring audio, MotoGP 14 ends up as a game that neither manages to impress or excite after more than a few hours. So even if your PlayStation 4 is screaming for a racing game, there's no compelling argument for giving MotoGP 14 a closer look."

Posted by James Bowden Cloud Chamber is an upcoming MMO from Investigate North that puts players in the role of investigator, asking them to actively discuss and compare thoughts about all manner of materials, such as found footage style vignettes and photographs, which are found within the digital database that is the Cloud Chamber. In part one of our chat with Cloud Chambers Director, Christian Fonnesbech, we discovered the origins of Cloud Chambers creation, its idea, and the spark that defines how the game works. Only One Retailer Gets LEGO Batman 3's Best Preorder Bonus

I get it, lots of people hate preorder bonuses. The only thing they hate more is retailer-specific preorder bonuses. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham features six different retailer-specific incentives, but only one is a Plastic Man minifig. Which retailer gets it? Oh you know.

News::Light Review (God is a Geek)

Posted by Stephen Dunne Theres a beauty and charm that goes into some games that make them incredibly lovable; a simplistic, yet intricate, approach that makes the connection between the player and the game deeper than others something that allows the player to become entranced by a game, making them not want to leave the screen until they cannot play any longer. Light, a game created by Just A Pixel that sees you playing as a square trying to obtain information using stealth, can easily be considered one of those games.

News::Put up an entire level of Mario on your walls with these decals

If you find yourself in need of some new Mario decor for your place, why not check out this line of Nintendo Power-Ups by Blik? Ranging from Mario to Bowser, each decal is printed on-demand and allow you to move them from place to place on your wall at any time. Concidentally, I just signed the lease for an apartment today and I'm not really all about making a bunch of nail holes in my walls, so these might be the ticket.

Each decal ranges from $10 to $24, if you're interested in picking some of them up separately. There's also the Super Mario Bros. Re-Stik set for $75, which serves up 30 pieces for you to mix and match and create a scene for yourself.

If you're not into Mario so much, there are some gorgeous Zelda stained glass scenes, Space Invaders graphics, Centipede , and even Asteroids sets. I've got my eye on the Pac-Man set as well. I wonder if they're actually as easy to move as they claim.

News::Another World 20th Anniversary Edition bringing back the 90s with style | Review from IM PLAYIN

IM PLAYIN takes a look at the 20th Anniversary port of Another World, which has had one or two bad reviews so far. "Playing Another World 20th Anniversary Edition is like opening a pack of classic Pokémon cards. It's like listening to Blur, Manic Street Preachers, Oasis or Backstreet Boys... well, maybe not Backstreet Boys. It's like catching an episode of The Fresh Prince after school or watching Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure on VCR. If most of the above fills your heart with warmth, or even if you're aware of what a VCR is, it's quite likely that you lived in the 90s. I was born in 1991, so I didn't get to play Another World until the late 90s, but I can still remember watching my older cousin play the game with its scruffy edges and clunky audio. It was, and still is, an incredibly simple game with a short and punchy plot. But, at its heart, Another World is quintessentially 90s. It's the embodiment of a generation and it's one of my fondest memories from that decade, so...
