Alongside the Roadhog and Winston changes in the latest PTR patch, Bastion also received a few tweaks. While we've known for awhile now that the changes would focus on making his sentry and tank mode transformations more viable, things might have gotten a little out of control. Right now, Bastion is practically unkillable under the right circumstances.

In the latest patch, Bastion gained a new passive ability called “ironclad” that reduces incoming damage by 35% while in sentry or tank mode. Seems fair, a little bonus to make sure he doesn't instantly melt from focused fire. But, when you combine that with Ana's nano boost ultimate that provides an additional 50% damage reduction on top of that, everyone's favorite little robot turns into an unstoppable juggernaut. Just watch the video below where a boosted Bastion shrugs off some of the most powerful ultimates in the game without breaking a sweat.

The Nintendo Switch won't be launching with too many games, but fans looking forward to this summer's Splatoon 2 won't have to wait much longer to get some hands-on time with the game. Much like how Nintendo demoed the first title to stress test its online service, Splatoon 2 will be receiving a test fire demo on the Switch. The demo will be held from March 24th to the 26th with six time slots available.

Of all the build requests the Ben Heck Show team receives on the element14 Community, there's one that has repeatedly came up: build a portable Nintendo 64, please! The team has finally decided to give it a go, starting with the Nintendo 64 that they tore down in the "Console Wars" episode. As unforgiving as the N64 hardware is, Ben is going to manipulate the components to make the portable fully featured, while Felix works to get the battery management up and running. It's John Wick Chapter 2 weekend and that means Valentine's Day is just a few days away. For some, that day will be spent sharing romantic moments, flowers, chocolates, lingerie, and disappointing sex with the one you love. For me, it will be Tuesday.

Even though I've been criminally single for the past 13 years, I'm always optimistic that love is right around the corner. My spirit is kept up with movies about falling in love, TV shows about people in love and video games where the protagonist risks his or her life to save their one true love.

Yes, I am that pathetic, but this week and the build-up to another lonely night got me thinking about gaming and love. Video games are often looked down upon for their poor story telling but I think many of us at one point or another have found ourselves completely immersed in the passion shared between two pixilated characters. In honor of Valentine's Day, I wanted to know what the Destructoid staff considered to be their favorite video game love story.

NVIDIA's new Shield TV is a lot like its old Shield TV -- at least, on the inside. Still, the revamped Android TV set-top box is a lot smaller; it has a vastly improved game controller; and it's a much better deal at $200, since it includes the remote that used to cost an additional $50. The Shield TV also packs in a newer version of NVIDIA's GeForce Now game streaming service, and it can pipe over titles from your NVIDIA GPU-equipped gaming PC with full support for HDR. Eventually, it'll also include Google's Assistant.

The Nintendo Switch doesn't exactly have a massive catalog of launch titles, but that doesn't mean that you'll be waiting months to play all the biggest games. Nintendo is promising a free Splatoon 2 "Global Testfire" preview running from March 24th through the 26th. Each day will have one or more hour-long play windows where you'll get a peek at how the inky shooter has evolved for the Switch. That isn't exactly a lot of time to play (why not let us play the whole weekend?), but it beats waiting until full game's summer launch. Not that your patience won't be rewarded -- Nintendo is also teasing local play modes as part of the full game, both of which are practically tailor-made for eSports.
